What it is

TreeWork Pro is one screen and one job: turn the work in front of you into a clean, professional quote before you leave the property. You tick the services, enter the counts, hours and footage, set the rates to whatever you actually charge, choose the site-access level, and generate a PDF you can print or email to the customer on the spot.

It is not a scheduling suite, a CRM, or a fleet-management platform. It does the one thing most solo climbers and small crews still do from memory or a paper pad — pricing the job and looking professional doing it.

Why it exists

Most tree work still gets quoted from mental math, a text message, or a carbon-copy pad in the truck. That produces inconsistent pricing, forgotten line items, and estimates that look thin next to a competitor who turned up with a proper proposal. The jobs that quietly lose you money — the tight-access removals, the crane work, the stump nobody accounted for — are exactly the ones a rushed verbal number gets wrong. TreeWork Pro closes that gap.

How the quote engine works

You pick from five job types — small removal, large removal, per-hour trimming and crown work, per-foot hedge trimming, plus stump grinding and chip-and-haul add-ons. Each carries an editable rate you can change to match your market. The calculator multiplies each line by its count, hours or footage, applies your chosen site-access adjustment (open, tight, or crane), respects a minimum job charge and an optional discount, and totals it. Nothing is hidden — the running total updates as you type, and the estimate you see is the estimate the customer gets.

How it makes money

TreeWork Pro is a software product with a simple price. The free tier gives you five quotes a month with a small TreeWork Pro mark on the quote footer. Pro at $9 a month removes that mark and adds unlimited quotes, PDF download, saved customer history, and email delivery from the app. Annual billing is $90 a year — two months off. There are no affiliate commissions, no equipment referrals, and no reader data for sale. The product is paid for by the operators who use it.

What it won't do

• Tell you your licensing or insurance requirements — confirm those with your state board and your broker.
• Set your prices for you. The default rates are a sensible starting point, not a recommendation; you set what your crew, gear and market bear.
• Replace safe work practice. Follow current ANSI A300 pruning and ANSI Z133 safety standards on every job.
